Paul has always had a passion for helping others. He owns a web design company based in Wolverhampton and is using these resources to enable the message of the MBCCA to reach a larger audience. Paul has been and continues to be instrumental in the setup and ongoing support of the MBCCA.
Paul is the right-hand man within the MBCCA and is involved with all elements of the awards.
By lending his support he is able to reach a larger,wider-ranging audience and make sure that the right people get the recognition they deserve and their efforts are seen by the wider public.
Tru joined the MBCCA in 2017 to initially help out a little on the night but ended up having a pivitol role to play in the smooth running of the 2017 awards night. At this point he was asked to come on board to play a key role alongside Paul Landa and Zoe Bennett to make the awards bigger and better and continue it’s success.
Tru’s extensive experience in the events industry and passion to help others makes him the ideal person to spearhead the awards into a new era. Tru is Founder & Managing Director for The Alternative Events Company, an event management company that specialises in coordinating high quality corporate and youth events across The Midlands.
Tru has worked with a variety of organisations across the city including Marketing Birmingham, Birmingham City Council, Birmingham City University and Trinity Mirror. He is also the Managing Director for The Alternative Wedding Group, a luxury wedding planning organisation that specialises in wedding planning, wedding coordination and wedding masterclasses. Tru is also the Creative & Events Director for Aston Performing Arts Academy, a community interest organisation that exists to empower young people through performing and creative arts. Since the organisation’s inception in 2004, the company has impacted the lives of over 3000 young people in the Midlands.
