1. Community Unsung Hero
We are looking for an individual who puts others before their own needs by going the extra mile to selflessly help others. We would like nominations for someone who has stepped in to help time and time again on their own initiative and is modest in their approach.
2. Entrepreneur of the Year
A person who can show an outstanding flair for business acumen through skills, products or services that they have brought to market. An entrepreneur can be multi-faceted and diverse through their skillset but most of all successful in their delivery. They must have the following qualities; innovative, inspirational, hard working, a passion for success and set an example for others to follow in their footsteps.
3. Community Fundraiser of the year Award
A person or an organisation that not necessarily has raised the most money in the community but who has gone above and beyond in an imaginative way to raise money or acquire goods to assist others in a charitable way. The effort that has been put into their fundraising sets them apart from their counterparts.
4. Carer of the Year Award
This award is for someone who provides care services whether paid or unpaid to other people and who goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that they provide the best all round care for their needs. This individual should be able to demonstrate that they have had a significant positive impact on the life of others. Care and compassion are virtuous qualities and this award will honour a full or part-time carer who goes above and beyond what is expected, to improve another’s living situation and quality of life.
5. Volunteer of the Year Award
An individual who consistently gives their own time to serve the community and who does not receive any monetary reward for this service. This is to identify and honour a person who’s voluntary work impacts on the lives of people within the community.
6. Most Influential Business Person of the Year
This award is for someone who has and continues to establish themselves in business. They need to be a person that not only has a successful business but also helps and inspires others around them. They must be able to demonstrate their authority in their field and have the gravitas to be noticed and respected by others
7. Business Charitable Fundraiser of the Year Award
The criteria for this category are to recognise an outstanding business that is charitable with their fundraising efforts.
8. Outstanding Business of the Year Award

9. Role Model of the Year Award
This category is open to any person either employed, self-employed or volunteer who has exceeded expectations of their role and who stands out for making a positive contribution to society and the people around them. The individual will be outstanding in their efforts to deliver good ethics and values.
10. Networker Gem Going the Extra Mile Award
This category is for a serial networker who: constantly connects people to the right businesses, successfully refers people in businesses for mutual benefits. Consistently networks in a myriad of groups and supports fellow business networkers, gives business networking mentoring support.
11. Lifetime Achievement Award
The lifetime achievement award recognises an individual’s outstanding continuous contribution that has a lasting impact on others. This individual displays an exceptional positive impact within the life of others time and time again.
